LOW VOLTAGE FLOOR HEATING SYSTEM

TruHeat's FlexHEAT system is a unique low voltage in-floor heating system designed to offer exceptional energy savings featuring our patented aluminum alloy heating tape. The tape is a miniscule 0.5 mm in thickness and comes in a variety of widths ranging from 5-12 cm (depending on the kit) size. Low voltage current is passed through the heating tape allowing it to gently warms the floor, resulting in the perfect spread of heat, creating a comfortable environment for all.

 

The FlexHEAT system covers 50-70% of the floor surface and therefore can operate at lower temperatures to provide the same heat output as other electric floor heating systems. This results in an efficient uniform heat output but with minimal energy consumption. FlexHEAT system is ideal for any irregular shaped rooms because the heat tape is flexible enough to be installed in any direction and is perfect for heating various areas with a single kit. There are 7 different kit sizes to choose from with each kit covering various square footages.

EASY INSTALLATION

The FlexHEAT system is a great way to heat large areas all with the safety of low voltage. Installation is super easy as well due the flexible nature of our aluminum alloy heat tape. While conventional heating cables need to be buried inside a layer, the FlexHEAT system can be installed with or without the the concrete layer. Simply plan out your desired area of heating, choose the appropriate kit size, layout the heat tape, make the electrical connections and install your flooring of choice.

* Minimum plank thickness for LVT/LVP floors for dry installation has to be 6 mm or higher.

* Thermal insulation is recommended and is not a must. This prevents heat loss and maximises system efficiency. 

* For high traffic areas we recommend placing a foam padding layer on top of the heat tape.
